Community Dedicated, Employee-Owned: Modern Supports Toys For Tots

Good Morning,
It is throughout this time of the season that we pause to reflect on the year that was, remember those who made a difference in our lives, and rededicate ourselves to be better members our our community.

Throughout the holidays many employee-owners of Modern will commit hours of their free time to a wide range of charities and service organizations. This dedication to others is undertaken without the want for praise or attention. However, it is a trait we all know is of immeasurable value to us as an organization.

In this spirit, the employee-owners of Modern as a whole have partnered with Toys for Tots. This is a program whose goal is to ensure as many children as possible experience the joy this season can bring.

We are unbelievably proud of the outpouring of support this program has seen from our fellow owners and family members. From York to Wilkes-Barre, Bristol to Hasbrouck Heights, we try to make that little bit of difference for those who need it.

All are more than welcome to come to to any of our branch locations with a donation of an unwrapped toy between today and December 7th. A full list of local donation locations can be found on the Toys for Tots website.

Craig Seamans Named Director of Forklift Sales Operations For The Western Region of Modern Group

Leading Forklift Sales Organization Prepares For Growth By Promoting Experienced Company Representative

(Bristol, PA) Modern Group has announced effective November 5th, 2015 that Craig Seamans will take responsibility over the company's forklift sales efforts in its western territories. This footprint encompasses the geographies of the company's Allentown, Reading, Wilkes-Barre and York Pennsylvania service branches.

Together with an experienced sales team, branch personnel, and supporting resources Mr. Seamans will be responsible for the continued growth of a diverse range of forklift products from Hyundai, CLARK, Big Joe, Terex Port Solutions and Konecranes. Mr. Seamans will work closely with each branch to help expand Modern's dock and door, forklift tire, and industrial battery service operations. In addition he will support emerging capital equipment offerings such PowerBoss® sweepers and floor scrubbers and future lines of business.

Mr. Seamans joined Modern Group in 2011 and has held the position of forklift capital sales representative with aftermarket product support in territories covering Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Jerry Hagen Named Vice President of Forklift Operations For Modern Group

Together with branch managers, service account representatives, parts specialists, coordinators, and technicians Mr. Hagen will ensure Modern's customers receive the best equipment service experience across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York State.
