Bristol, PA headquartered Modern Group, one of the nation’s largest material handling and construction equipment distributors, announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire assets of Philadelphia based Fred Hill and Son Company. Fred Hill and Son Co., established in 1894, have a 115-year history in material handling solutions.

They will represent a strong addition to our existing material handling offerings. This supplements our existing Hyster forklift relationship with additional material handling products and services”, said Dave Griffith, Modern Group, President and CEO.
